Personal Care
Personal care for clients includes:
- Bathing and showering, including bed baths
- Applying lotions and creams as required
- Dressing and getting ready for bed
- Oral hygiene
- Support with shaving
- Foot care
- Helping you to the toilet, including using a commode or bed pan
- Changing convenience pad, along with cleaning intimate areas
Domestic Help
Domestic Helpers perform a variety of tasks within a service user home, such as providing care for a child or elderly family member, housecleaning, running errands and cooking.
Domestic Helpers will provide regular housekeeping. This may include:
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Vacuuming
- Laundry
- Cleaning Dishes
Social Care
We implement the care plan and provide the practical and emotional support that the client needs. We may work in a home environment, nursing homes or community centres. Social care work focuses on
